The government decided that the internet must be guaranteed to be up 100% because they want to push ASP ONLY solution on doctors. The internet providers will not guarantee 100% up time for all locations in Alberta. The Alberta government won't guarantee it on their own fiber cable that taxpayors paid to have installed in every community in Alberta. So the government decided that EMR vendors have to be financially responsible, and guarantee the Internet will be up 100% of the time. Ya right... and I have a bridge for sale.
